Journal Entry #3
I don’t celebrate my birthday. I will tell you why. In the bible, there were two birthdays celebrated. In both of these birthdays, someone was killed. These birthdays were for the king and the pharoah.
In the king’s birthday, his daughter danced for the guards and the king’s friends. She danced so well that the king offered her anything she wanted, up to half the kingdom. She did not know what to ask for. That is why she asked her mother. Her mother wanted something.
She asked for the head of John the baptist. Do you know what happens next? The daughter asks the king for his head on a platter. That is what he did. That is the reason why I don’t celebrate birthdays. If someone has a birthday, I respect that. I just don’t take part in it.
Interviewed
The person I interviewed was Jomarih. Jomarih was born on October 17, 1994. Right now, he lives in Barrigada. In his spare time, he likes to play basketball, use the computer, and hang out with his friends. They help him when he’s feeling low.
Let’s talk about his family. There are four, including him. What about his favorite teacher? It’s Ms. Talevera. His favorite subject is Reading. She is not a reading teacher, but a Math teacher, at least I think she is. Never mind, I’ll go back to the interviewer. His favorite color is blue. Today, he feels great. That is all I have to say. Thank you.

Hello, and welcome to my blog. My name is Brittni as you may know. I am in GATE/Technology class. My favorite color is black. My favorite flower would have to be a rare black rose. What I like to in my spare time is to draw, paint, and write songs.
